Re: Winter running clothing?
Well having survived a freezing, horizontal rain storm in May and a couple of blizzards in June, all you need is some seal skin gloves, two layers instead of one underneath your waterproof/wind proof, a wooly hat and shorts of course with helly weatherproof pants on underneath.

- running tights, shorts over the top
- Helly Hansen 'warm' baselayer
- Montane windproof jacket
- smartwool socks
- mountain equipment powerstretch beanie / headband
- windproof gloves: I've got some that leave your fingertips bare but have a mitten-style hood thing that pops over the top
- spare top / base-layer in the bumbag

Personally...if a man wishes to wear running tights....shorts MUST be worn over the top!
