Bowland / n.e. Lancs campsite?
Can anyone recommend a campsite for a couple of nights in the trough or forest of Bowland, or anywhere north / north-east Lancs / Yorks border?
We're off up to the Lakes soon and thought we'd stop somewhere on the way.
only stipulation is that it must have a very good pub within walking distance.
thanks,
Ade

found one - at Newton-in-Bowland.
Any Bowland regulars have a good walking route round there to recommend?

Mmm, I'm a bit old fashioned about time trials: they should be flat!
Plus I don't think I'll have my bike with me.
