Concussion from banging your chin?

Hello, I'm wondering if I could have given myself concussion when I landed chin first on a dirt road this morning. Is that possible? How can you tell? Can someone direct me to a reliable website which will give me clear and useful information?

I have no doubt a blow to the head via the chin could cause concussion. Wikipedia is a decent place to start for general information on concussion. The important thing is to avoid any further head injuries in the near future. Good luck with it.
