Thanks for a great day out at the junior races. I loved the courses and spectating was brilliant. We only had a few of our runners out today but we all loved it. Well done to all.

Yes I'd like to add my thanks, especially to Chris & Steve for managing flagging & starts/finishes, Jim for dealing really well with some challenges around the results and of course Steve & Wynn for once again putting on a great event. impressive also seeing CCR & WP completing the waltz, well done gentlemen.

Thanks to everyone involved in putting on some great races.
Last year had a go, not sure I can compete with you youngsters! Great to see you guys in amongst it. Apologies to Lecky, didn't see you well done, top role models.
or roly-poly models ;)
I think each year the competition in these races gets better and better! Thank you all for the compliments, and can I add my thanks to last minute marshal help from Jim & Sarah (who both got some interval training in moving from post to post!), and Lesley who manned the gate on the road and made sure everyone made the turn. Also I must apologise to the mid-order under 14's who had to dodge the pack of the next race that we started early to avoid a clash with the seniors coming in, I should have planned that better.
I saw Lecky, but he was sprawled on the ground, so may be he had been playing roly-poly!
A huge thanks to Chris and his team (too many to mention by name) for running a superb Anni Wa!!
Results for AW, TWA and Juniors are now all up on the web site .... splits to follow for senior races in a week or two

Cant say that I was in amongst it but its nice of you to at least think it. Luckily I had the xcuse of escorting a couple of friends round the route who had not raced in Lakes before but if truth be known i was lucky to hang on to them. Next year its 2.30 or die trying
