People fishing on the canals

They are precious Moley, i very rarely take trout home. Interesting colours in your trout Andy, most stocked strains are the yellowy Test and Itchen strain and most wild strains show at least some Von Behr, yours is neither it's almost a Brook Trout. I caught this at one of my secret dales hotspots some years ago...

It is a very pure Loch Leven strain characterised by being silvery and having no red but lots of black spots. Not a common sight in an area where hybrids are the norm, it came from a waterfall pool and there may be an isolated breeding population there. This is what i see most of, the Von Behr strain...
