Ha ha brilliant vid!! It all seemed to go well last night. Any feedback about the courses or organisation then pm me on here or get in touch through ambleside website. Results on there soon.
Dan
Yes Dan, thanks for these races, Lily Tarn was v atmospheric (looked like Excalibur was about to emerge!) fantastic to see juniors from Ambleside, Broughton & Helm enjoying running on the fell. Michelle's cow bell added to the atmosphere as well! The Helm crew all enjoyed themselves, really appreciate all your efforts. Cheers and thanks again.
Great vid. I had no idea there were so many kids running that night! I'd have gone and cheered them on, but thought their race was starting where the adult's race started (my fault of course, just not that familiar with Lily Tarn etc.).
Great to see anyway.

Eleanor
Just got home after a week in the Lakes. Thanks so much for organising such a great event. What fantastic weather it seems to bring each year! Hopefully our Easter trip next year will also coincide with Todd Crags and Loughrigg.
Another lovely evening for this race and thanks Eleanor and her team for orgamising such a great couple of races. Seems to get more popular each year! Only one more year for my kids and they will have to do the senior race!!
Well, I reckon they'll be more than ready! They ran really well again this time. Results now on www.amblesideacjuniors.co.uk
This year's Todd Crag Junior Races are on Wednesday evening, 8th April, same night as Loughrigg Race for seniors. Register from 5pm, and first race 6pm. Age categories U8, U12 and U14. 14+ run with seniors. Details should be available from amblesideac.org.uk. The old Ambleside Juniors website has now been subsumed into the Ambleside AC website, in case you've searched and been told 'unavailable'. Hope to see you there!
Is it age on day or age on 1st January Eleanor?
age on 1st Jan
Results now available here
Once again another brilliant evening race in delightful weather, great atmosphere and lot of smile on children's (and parents!) faces. Big thanks to Ambleside AC for your organising of this event.
Hi Eleanor. Just noticed TCJ are scheduled for Saturday 16th April next year? Instead of Wed 9th with the Loughrigg race. Any reason for this change to a usual Easter tradition? Also races up to U18? Hope we can make it. Simon
