I have... observed this.
It's the week after Haworth Hobble, though, so I doubt I'll be able to swing a pass-out :o
you in BG training then DT? http://www.runnersworld.co.uk/forum/...ink_smiley.gif
I wasn't going to have a go again in 2011 tbh but then after spending last weekend in Lakeland I'm not sure now. The obsession is like a virus which comes and goes, but is never cured properly and a combination of spending the weekend with several folk who've been successful plus seeing off three winter round attempts means it's back to the fore again
Looks very tempting this DT !
looks like a beauty this :-)
Nice to see this one back again; I remember it well in it's previous incarnation when it started from the YH. Hopefully they will keep the optional over the top by the quarry to drop into the slate mine and thus avoid climbing to Honister on tarmac.
Wondered where that bit of the route went Headless!
The option went into Warnscale Bottom and then over the South flank of Fleetwood Pike, basically following the bridleway marked on the 1:50,000 OS, although a lot of walkers seemed to prefer going straight up the Honister road.
The descent from Honister is fun on the bridleways - 2 1/2 miles of rough downhill when your legs are already shot
