Any one got a decent pair of Walshes Size 1. My daughter is just starting out in kids runs. Someone must have a pair lurking in a cupboard barely worn?
Although I will be berated by some for being a tight a**e Yorkshireman, it seems a shame to invest in new when kids grow out of things so quickly.
No sorry, but my youngest has just grown out of her first pair of walshes (handed down from her brother) I heard about a 'bring a pair' take a pair scheme somewhere, and i remember someone mentioning it in our club, but \i think it just happens by word of mouth. Might be a good idea to start a decicated 'kids' shoe exchange thread' somewhere on the forum?
Why not have a word with Dave and Eileen Woodhead,
They regularly used to ask people to donate their old fell shoes to allow youngsters to participate in our sport.
I imagine they might have quite a collection by now.
At least it's worth a try.
