Another new jacket thread?

Looking to get a new waterproof top for MMs (some xmas cash burning a hole in my pocket). Thinking of either Kamleika smock or Rab Drillum but wondering if I'm better off just getting a cheapo supposed breathable cag.

Any thoughts most appreciated. Anyone who's used the smock or Drillium in anger?

I've had a Kamleika smock for a couple of months now and it certainly keeps out the elements. Probably ideal for the OMM but I'd go for a lighter alternative for the LAMM and SLMM. The Kamleika's not very breathable but I don't think that any waterproof garment is breathable if you're running.

Thanks Slowcoach. Also thinking of the Marmot Essence as it appears to be less than 200g in weight. Might be more efficient to shift my beer belly though and do some training.
