Only just seen this... too busy working nights and doing the 4 Inns. Well done Andy
Brilliant news, congrats Andy, good work.

Well done Andy!
Bumped into one of your supporters at Lancaster services, he passed on the news. Been up in the Lakes all weekend... Fantastic conditions!
Great news Well Done Andy:thumbup:
Yesssssss!
Well done sir, that's awesome. I knew you'd do it, you looked strong the whole time I was running with you. Must feel ace to have it in the bag!
Andy
My legs hurt.
I have written a report on my day out here
http://tickinghills.blogspot.co.uk/
It was quite an eventful night, going from being up on the 22 hour schedule at Wasdale to finishing in 23:36. But absolutely no regrets about the time.
Looking back over the past 18 months since I started running has made me realise just how many people I have met, and who I now regard as my closest friends. To everyone who has offered me advice and to everyone who I have run - thank you for helping me out with this amazing journey.
A great effort and a long time in the dark even now the days are getting longer...your comment on the blog about "now or never" when things got tough on the last two legs is what the round is all about!
Great effort Andy!
Well done. What a belting day and a super result. It's really got me excited about my attempt now. Just hope we get similar conditions in June.

P.S. Can't stop thinking about carrying rocks, doing star jumps and dragging tractor tyres along Leg 2!
Just read the report on the blog Andy... inspiring stuff.
Attempting myself on May 25th and have a healthy degree of apprehension about it but some great support in whom I have confidence in spades. Training largely gone to plan though the next 'back to back days' session may be hijacked by the weather... it's Easter Monday and Tuesday on Legs 3 & 4.
Well done with your persistence mate. Now enjoy relaxing and taking your foot off the gas for a while:D
