shady oak tough 10k

anyone looking for a mid week race might consider our race its on the road but is hilly good veiws start and finish 200yrds from a pub . Its wednesday 16th may at 7.30 from the shady oak on the whaley bridge to buxton rd any more details check out the website http://www.goytvalleystriders.org.uk/

Most of it's road, but the section along Ladder Hill is about a mile of rough track. There is plenty of climb - just under 1000ft of ascent. It's a great route.

Hope to be there. Looks harder than the old Hard Labour 10K in Chinley..:)

Nice race, it took 3mins30secs longer than a flat 10k I did two months ago.

Thanks to Kevin & team for organising. Hopefully same weather for next year? It would be a shame to spoil it with good conditions.
