Re: 3 Peaks cyclocross. Help!
Well done Steve; glad you enjoyed the day as I knew it meant a lot to you especially after last year's cancellation.

Re: 3 Peaks cyclocross. Help!
My favourite moment was at the stile when rider 44 went straight past a massive queue, climbed the fence and went off into the distance saving himself at least 4 minutes, absolutely shameless, there's never a lightning strike about when you need one is there.

Didn't see that but heard about it, that's just not cricket:rolleyes:
I slung my bike over the fence and then queued for the style and being far too polite let loads of people go first (or was it because my legs hadn't recovered from Simon Fell:confused:):D

A reet racin man that'un...'ard-faced 'n shameless...adds a bit o' spice to th'occasion...easy to see 'oo it is; checkowt results on DT's earlier post... shows rider number in one o' columns.;)
Reminds me o' Pendle fell race many years ago when a certain Bingley 'arrier... a gret big 'eavyweight not to be argued with...jumped o'er a gate at Buttocks where everyone else wer queuin up...a lass shouted "hey you can't do that!"...'n the fella just turned round 'n said "f##k off yer bitch!!!"... well funny!:D
Re: 3 Peaks cyclocross. Help!
If it was him, I don't consider his finish time, or the fact that he was at the back of the queue rates him as a "reet racing type", he might as well have waited, (not that I'm bitter, he said bitterly).
Sounds more like a "reet Aspergers type" to me.
Anyhow the Autism society are having an educational campaign at present so I should be more sympathetic.
