Been for a run this afternoon and the fields are full of baby lambs  Okay, it's not spring yet but it's a sign it's too far off :)

Never mind all that have you seen the price of lamb in the shops?
Hmm what's this, a grown up Sheep looking at little Lambs?? I hope you weren't taking any pictures!!??!!
Sounds a bit dody to me? Where's PC Plod and the sun when you need them??:p
I came across what appeared to be 4 hairy rare breed pigs on the Pennine way heading towards Ponden Res. One gave chase but stopped as i got to the gate and looked like he was after a stroke, did not like the look of his teeeth though so I stayed away. Snogged it though (well it is valentines day).
Then in Haworth at the back of Parkside social club where there is a tarmac path through what appears to be playing fields to Providence lane, there were 5 highland cattle clustered round the Gate on the path- they were willing to be petted but it was all a bit bizarre.
Also saw some Mountain bikers on the Millenium Footpath:mad:. But no lambs anywhere.
 first lambs of the year spotted today!!
Last weekend not far from my house spotted a dozen or so...and the snowdrops are coming out!
