Managed to get round, which was a positive with so little training under my belt and first race in 2 years . ;)
Not sure of time but the girl behind me said that she got 1.28 so I'm 1.27-1.28. Bigger hills than I expected on a road run but I ran every single one, which I was quite chuffed with considering just about everyone around me was walking them (that fell training is paying off)!!
Aim for 1.20 next year :D
It is a mega course for hills, around 1300ft in climbing which is a lot for a road race. The hill at birstwith is mental, but I'm pleased to say I ran it all as well. I managed 1:26 last year so took 13 mins off this time round :)
1.38 for me, taking 3 mins off last year which I was pleased with given the lack of training and general tiredness of body from the outset! Well done everyone. Nice weather today.
I knew I'd be at work this afternoon, so didn't bother entering, but some members of my (recently joined) club competed.

Thanks NVRR for a well marshalled race, really well executed as always.
Very well organised.
My first race after 5 weeks on the beer. I reckon I should have chosen a gentler re-introduction. Yorkshire Rob about 70 secs in front.
