Re: Today's Art Exhibition
That's a great picture Dom, Dr H Tool's fell running paintings are amazing.

I hope I get to work on a project like this again but in the mean time, I'm back to making new work and restocking galleries. Here's a link to the Mercer:

Sounds like it's been fun, must be nice to be able to produce an exhibition that is linked to such interesting subject matter, finding inspiration can't have been a problem. Good luck starting back with new work, after an exhibition is done it can feel a bit like the tide's gone out, just waiting for the impetus to return.
Re: Today's Art Exhibition
I know what you mean. I have been feeling a bit 'flat' now its all done but I have a new project to get my teeth into for an exhibition in November and I've got lots of ideas for new prints. I tend to work best when I have deadlines to meet.:)

Re: Today's Art Exhibition
Looks very interesting Hes, hope it goes well and you get good response to it
Hope you manage to get running again soon as well as producing some new work.

Cheers Ken. I'm running again at last. I've been taking it easy over the last few weeks but I've managed one fell run (and a fell hobble) and a few trail and road runs. Did my first session with the club last night after 10 weeks and I'm able to keep up with most of the fast group so all the cycling paid off! Anyway...hope to see you at a race soon.

Re: Today's Art Exhibition
Ohhhh... can I tout here too? :D
Come and have a look at my arts centre when you are running in the Black Mountains/Brecon Beacons. Between Abergavenny and Hay-on-Wye, right on the border:

Re: Today's Art Exhibition
Thanks for the mention. I'm struggling with the final illustrations for my book (not to mention negotiations with the publishers!), Like one would in the final stages of a Bob Graham Round. Should be worth it.
Anyway I will be at the Hayfield Sheep Dog Trials at weekend, stuck in the Crafty Tent of course (getting out of doing the Lantern Pike :-)
See you there, the good Dr................
PS:-) Just done a great cycle tour around Northumberland, Yorkshire, Lancashire and back to Derbyshire with the good Wormstone.
Re: Today's Art Exhibition
Who has obtained a copy of Hester Cox's book called "Home"?
It contains some marvellous examples of her prints and hakai.
I forgot to ask her to sign a copy when I visited her recently.
