    Re: White Holme Circular

Here is what me and Chris got up to today...
It was pretty desparate up there, with thigh deep snow on the climb to White House and sheet ice along the Pennine Way. Look at Warland reservoir!

I was wearing three layers of thermal shirt and GoreTex cagoule, two pairs of tights, sealskin socks, two balaclavas and a hat and thin gloves under thermal motorcycle gloves. And I could still feel the biting wind.

No music, you'll just have to hum!

IT IS VERY DOUBTFUL THAT THE FULL RACE WILL GO ON.
If the roads improve and we can (a) get there and (b)park along the A6033 half on the pavement as we normally do, we may do the "Race To The Summit" route or a derivation of it - a decision will be made by Thursday 14th Jan 2010

    Cheers,
    AG

I know its probably the least of your worries but if the route is the Race to the Summit or anything less than 6 miles will over 16's be allowed to run?

I feel an edit coming on - might wish to re-read that TT, though I've given you a big clue as to why

...though my edit might come first - think I've realised you mean will the minimum age be lowered from over 18 to over 16?
