I'm sure there'll be a few more County champs postponed/cancelled before Saturday.

    I'm surprised.

I might be eating my words though come weekend.

I would have been happy to have run the race today at Witton, the snow was great and I went around the course, it was fine.
The problem today would have been getting people to the event this morning as some of the roads were blocked.
    But course wise OK.
It was about 1:30pm and cars were parking on the main car park by then and plenty of people were around the park.

I'm optimistic we'll be Ok for Saturday.

Can see why the Yorks event is off and I assume the others as well - its OK for those who live nearby but very unfair if you are unable to travel from further afield to race, its the right decision to cancel it doesnt matter how runnable the course is if no-one can get there.

Hampshire off as well - my busy weekend of running on Saturday and marshalling at a 10K on Sunday has suddenly become a weekend with nothing planned.
