Made it, eventually, to the rogue checkpoint. Going into the mist I was around 8th....

...then did a tour of all the checkpoints and various cairns, piles of stones and markers, some of which were manned. Returning to the finish in around 16th or 17th position....

...to be reinstated (the last I heard) in around 4th or 5th position!

Just looking through eBay for some new Kendal Winter League trophies and I came across this...

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Real-Wild-Boar...QQcmdZViewItem

Thought it might be more applicable for the Really Wild Boar race.

Did any results come about from this race?

I owned up to not completing the course on the day, but didn't get disqualified. Suppose where I finished it doesn't matter anyway.

    Fiendsdale or Really Wild Boar

Which of these would be the better race? Travelling from Sheffield.

Also any Peak races on that weekend that haven't made the calendar?

Need to be back in Sheffield by 7 for a wedding reception.

    Cheers

    Iain,

Fiendsdale is pre entry only and had a limit of only 100 this year due to various land issues etc so it would be unlikely you'll get a run by thinking you can pay on the day.

Hope this helps the decision making?

I was keen to do Wolf's Pit to support a new race, but Slug Family matters loom for the Sunday...

...so I've switched my attention to Ras yr Aran on the Saturday
