    agreed Paramo is brilliant hill kit but is not for runners, I use to test the stuff about 19 years ago, then the face fabric was pertex.

    Many in my MR team have Paramo pants

    I went with my Mountain Equipment fetish and bought the Ogre's.....they have literally just been delivered and i might so and stand in the shower to test them out..............im joking by the way.g

    Sorry Al only just read this

    I have some MacPac gortex salopettes for ML/winter walking and work.

    and a few different jackets depending on conditions from a Karrimor XCR winter mountaineering jckt to a light weight NF jacket. The piece of kit I use the most when walking/teaching/MR is my Montane Extreme Smock. Good piece of kit very versatile but too warm/heavy for running (although I did use it on a night section of a BG once)
    Basically it's a copy of a Buffalow mountain shirt which I've had in the past.

    Although the Montane one is very good and alot cheaper my Buffalow took much more punishment before looking tatty.

    I really like the Montane DT Atomic leggings which to me feel lighter than the OMM's. but probably much of a muchness

    i got some montane featherlite pants yesterday from ulti outdoors, just for the bum bag dint think they were bad at 35 quid.
    I ran and ran until my Muscles burned and my veins pumped battery acid, ....And then i ran some more.
