    Sedbergh Sky race

This looks intriguing, seen in the events but at the moment there is no website for it.

Is this a new one? Anyone know anything about it?

    cheers

The most intriguing thing at the moment is what they're going to put in the goody bags to justify a £25 entry fee.
The use of 'Sky' in the title suggests a connection with the Buff series, but I'm guessing there's no actual link. Winder might be a bit of a bu***r, but it ain't exactly Pikes Peak!
I'm waiting with interest for the website to go live.

Hehe, well its definitely a possibility on the Cloughs route, you'll have to pop down for one of the CTJM recces!

Must admit, even tho the race sounded good I thought the entry fee was taking the provderbial.
For me personally, I can think of lots of other reasons (and races?) to spend that amount of dosh on.

Such as Sedbergh Hills on 22/8 for £5 - with probably similar terrain and I would hazard better company to run with!
I cannot see any regular fell runners stumping up £25 to do this.
