Was it not run under FRA rules one year when it was run in November as a pre amble to the FRA do, I know they shifted registration etc that year to Millans Park (possibly 2001)

I'm not sure which rules it was run under but it did start and finish in Milans park in Nov 2001 (that was the first time I ran it).
Great race. The weather was spot on this year and I'll be back again next year.

Thinking about it I reckon that the usual February date for this race in 2001 could have been one of the first affected by foot & mouth. I know the outbreak started around that time because I remember doing the Carnethy 5 Hills but by the time the Ilkley Moor race came round the countryside was virtually shut

    Hi,

I just wondered if anyone knew the date for this this year. It's normally a romantic valentine's day weekend race I think so maybe the 15th?

    Thanks a lot.

Its usually the last Sunday in February, which would be 22nd, there's nothing romantic about Brox But I don't know if that's the actual date as that is a state secret.

Thanks for that. I do know the secret handshake if that helps.

Brox mentioned the 22nd. I think he's a busy boy at the moment.

Thanks for that. Sounds like it's safe to start planning for the 22nd then.

    Good news.
