    Weekly Mileage and Climbing

Im just being nosey here and wanted to see if people would own up to how much mileage and climbing they tend to get in per week.

Obviously what people are clocking up is going to differ massively - from the BG hopefuls and other Long Distance challenges, to the everyday 'normal' fell racers and the 'stollys' just running for the hell of it.

The week before last i did 29 miles with just short of 5000ft of climbing running 4 times. That was abit of a one-off really as im usually hitting the 20 miles mark with about 2-3000ft off three sessions a week (Tuesday hill reps, Thursday road or 4 miler across the fields, weekend long run or race)

Through the season (March-September) I normally run about 25 miles a week and 5000 feet.

I was thinking that, once the big races start weekend after weekend i'll be getting loads more climbing in but unless its a long race i doubt i'll ever go over 30 miles.

    On a good week 25 miles/5500ft on a badish week 12/15 miles/ 2500ft and a racing week less than 10 miles.
