I would if it were me just means you get to enjoy the area more if you can stay for a night or two.
As usual i havnt made my self clear!
What i realy want to know is ,is it a good race and worth traveling and staying over for ,or are there better races in the area?
Come on, someone help him out. There must be plenty of people who can give their view on the Skiddaw Race, unlike me as I've never run it. For what it's worth Iwould have thought it is less appealing than other Lake District races and If I was going to plan a stay over in the area for a first Lakeland race it would be Buttermere Sailbeck.
Im doing that one, Chris
Do you think I need to book the campsite.
Also this weekend for the Anni Waltz Race
Me and the missus are staying at this B & B

I think it's pretty awful because I find the path dreadful to run on. The old grassy path used to be ok but erosion control measures have spoiled that. Having said that, it's a big up and down on a hill that many people have heard of and also climbed so a decent time wins good bragging rights .
