    Hi Emmilou

I bought a ladies Camelback charm I think its a 1.5 litre, I used for the first time on the full tour of pendle I think its great, it has a sternum strap so you can get it tight on your chest without it bouncing around, The only problem is you still need to carry a bumbag with you waterproofs in etc as there is nowhere to store large things in it. but that was great on the day.
( and there are a choice of colours, pink if you prefer )

    Thanks Maloni

I like the sound of the sternum strap and have been trying to find ones that have one. Are thre no other pockets at all on it? I'd like to avoid using the bum bag as well as if possible. thanks!

There are 2 mesh pockets at the side and 1 zip where I guess would be OK for small objects.
I have had a quick look on google on www.bikesyoulike.co.uk there is one there you can zoom into.
It gets soooo confusing which one to get.good luck

The dogfish has a sternum strap, is lighter and still has pockets - think 2 litres of water should be more than enough for the races I'm doing and it's only £28 at that website.

It's not specific to a woman's fit - but it should be ok right

There's a lot to be said for carrying an empty 1/2 litre bottle, and drinking from streams en-route, filling the bottle to drink as you head away from the stream.

Remember that 1.5l of water is 1.5kg!
