    Harrogate

I've just been told that I need to go to Harrogate for three days next week. I hope to get out for a couple of runs and wondered if any of you have recommendations for routes near there. I'll likley be on the train so a run from the town would be best. Also, any good bike / running shops to visit and any good places to scoff? Cheers.

I cannot recall the name but ther is a lovely restaurent halfway down the bank near "Bettys".
It looks out onto the gardens.
All will be clear when you are there!

Plenty of hilly-ish routes out west but not sure how accessible by public transport - alternatively could get train to Knaresborough and run back along Harrogate Ringway and alongside the Nidd Gorge to Bilton(NE Harrogate).
