    Go home at the weekends .... well that would depend if I wanted to see wife and dogs ....... hmmm it is a close one !!

    I do normally (3 times a month) but I am keeping an eye on what is around in the SW area to flex my stays down here.

    Thanks for the advice and I will keep my eyes and ears open as I am monitoring various sites etc for events.

    Herefordshire is actually very well placed for easy access to the very active Shropshire and South Wales fell running communities. Mercia and WFRA websites will have loads of helpful information for you. And you are not that far from real hard-nut stuff in North Wales and bog-trotting mid-wales events. All of these can be reached without having to endure the horrors of the M6 which usually has a way of totally ruining your weekend!
