For a relatively small hill/area it is highly versatile

Pendle is great, and even easier and closer to get too...straight down the A59 and your sorted.

No need to cross the border t'yorkshire for decent fell-running

problem is once you get to top you can see the view into Yorkshire and what proper hills look like making you want to come over here.

I don't look that way

I grew up in the Ribble Valley hehe, in a village which used to be in North Yorkshire, but Lancs reclaimed it, but many of the elders still swore allegiance to the White Rose lol
