Tonight - Driver's in the Dock

    Anyone watching this?
"The left hook" - Their little reconstruction was set up very much in favour of the driver!!?
What generally happens is the yanker in the car rushes to overtake the bikey then immediately hangs a left 'cutting up' the cyclist!

If drivers gave cyclists as much respect as they do to bloody horses, we wouldn’t have a problem
Frequent but moderate workouts on a consistent basis are the key to success

My biggest accident was when a passenger got off a bus then walked straight in the road in front of me........I got stitches in me head but fortunately I broke his leg in return.

One thing that pees me off is when the road narrows ahead and the car behind dives in front of you to allow the oncoming car through but you could have got through on the bike.

Horses can make a bigger mess of your car.

Not if the cyclist is really really angry, or as I witnessed once when the driver decided to intimidate a peloton (we all bruised our hands!!!!) at the next set of lights.

Anyway Grouse I am serious and it doesn't involve speed.

Re: Tonight - Driver's in the

I regularly have people trying to kill me on the way home. The squeel of rubber as they go to overtake on a blind bend and see the car coming the other way is a sound that always makes me twitch. Been hit on the leg with wing mirrors many times!
