Short 4m with dog tonight, 72m/13000ft for the week, rest day tomorrow apart from cycling to work and back.

40 mins lunch ride on the fixie....
17.4km/560m taking in the first bit of the Clay Bank East Race before dropping towards Ingleby Greenhow to take on The Incline

1.24km/213m and all runnable. Steady in 9.48 - just a scouting mission for some future tortuous sessions - before heading back via the Urra Moor Trig.
Very pleased housemate made a big Sausage casserole (insert euphemism here) for dinner.

12.5 miles in driving rain on Rombalds and Burley moor
20.5km miles on the moors and woods above Ayton. Managed to fing 740m of vert as well! Easy for the next fornight - excepting Saunders and Wasdale! All roads lead to Borrowdale!

2nd Snowdon race recce done; exactly (give or take a second) the same time as last time; 1:47. Descents still need work. First outing for new Salomon fellcross shoes, quite pleased with them.
3 full climbs of Mt Famine,4reps of the steep Kinder Trog climb from the Sett and 12 reps of the last bit of South Head.
2 and a half hours and about 5500 ft of climbing all in the rain and fog.
Must say I've had more fun on the fells but good last hard run before Wasdale
First day of my summer hols (god bless Shipley College !). Started it as I do every year, with a steady 9.3 mile trot up Smons Seat. I never tire of the view at the top. Happy days............
Quick mile swim at local Gym in lunch hour, loosened up the legs a treat
