A nice short 4.5 mile around Pex Hill this morning.
a nice brisk 4 miles around hartshead pike this morning, going to do a 14 miler around chew valley tommorow just to see if i can remember to run that far
Just under 6 miles on and around Baildon Moor starting from layby near the cattle grid.
Gargunnock hill race, 4.5m 1000ft
The first runnning of this race as part of the village show. a good turnout and great sunny weather made this a cracking run, felt good and steady on the climb and passed plenty on the descent. No idea of time but of the three other Westies there I haven't beaten any of them in a hill race, and I was ahead of two. Not bad in a hard week staring with Duddon, and a long fell run midweek. Another long one tomorrow around Arrochar and then ease up for Ennerdale next week.
Is it meant to be this hard?
About 14 miles seriously off road on a mountain bike - fantastic fun and I now have another up and coming obsession to get all stupid about.
Doesn't count unless its running Who said that a while ago on this very thread
MTB's are great fun as are cyclocross bikes, great for cross training or when you can't run cos your injured. But it does become an obsesion and starts costing lots when you knack your bike, enjoy Stolly
Hills and Guinness!
Yeah I was riding my daughter's bike, a GT Aggressor or something. It inspired me enough to dig out my what must be 15 year old MB and drive over to Skipton this afternoon to put it in for an overhall.
Unfortunately the bike shop had loads of shiney new bikes........ and I saw one I now must have
35 mins pace run to keep the legs moving
