I'm afraid so, doing Windermere with a group of family and friends, but some drop outs already. No idea of time on an undulating route though. Only as winter focus anyway, with the aim of getting some Lakes Classics under my belt this summer.
Is your marathon training with anything in particular in the summer in mind?
Jason
Is it meant to be this hard?
am 40 mile Cycle pm 8 mile hilly road route.
5.1 miles at 7.15 pace by the side of the canal in Dukinfield at lunchtime
11.8 miles of the Knaresborough Round. A bit snivelly so bailed out after Coneythorpe. Good running on mostly new, to me, paths and tracks. Slowed up a bit with map reading and dog managing.
"I am not a number! I am a free man!"
30 windy wet miles on road bike with Ady in Accy, top bloke, nice to meet you, Ady, hope you had a safe journey home. Ady had done 30 odd miles when he met me and then had to get home after. Giving up energy gels, and going for the slice of ham and a mars bar approach Young lad wants to go on a bike ride now, that'll make it 35 miles, still a long way to go to match Ady
You've earned your Strongbow tonight, mate, and them chips smelled nice at Nont Sarah's pub
