A tad under 7 miles up Black Hill and down to the ford below Red Ratcher and back. 1400 feet up and down in 1:17. Lots of flying ants and bilbo baggins flies. Saw serious smoke coming from Snake pass/southern Bleaklow. Hope all is well.

5.5 grim miles tonight, legs still sore from Burnsall and headcold has come back with a vengeance. Started ok and then couldn't breath at all. Had to stop and walk for a bit before picking up again towards the end. Feel like shit now though, head's pounding.

Lovely long and sunny run over one of the Bowland challenges (Langden Watershed) today. 16 miles plus the extra bit because I started and finished at fell foot to avoid time in car and extra petrol. It was wet in places but not as boggy as sometimes. After parlic saw nobody until the Trough road and then once I left the road only saw 3 people until I got to Fairsnape.
5m relaxed run with dog just as it was turning dark, great to see that look in the dog's eyes, 'I love you mate'
Hills and Guinness!
8 x 1:30 hill reps up the front of the Chevin tonight. Had a funny sort of cold/shortness of breath going on recently so couldn't manage hard efforts, instead concentrated on bounding along and keeping a continuous effort, sort of like a strength session instead of a heart/lung session. Quite enjoyed it but it was a pathetic distance of only 2 miles in 30min (although in my defence it was up a pretty steep, only just runnable slope)

7 miles and 1800ft, despite some ongoing dental issues thanks to a teeth connecting with rocks incident ran pretty well. Got a couple of hours booked in the lakes tomo on the way darn sarth.
Then next week I have 7 clear days where I can run, with the Cairngorms on the cards for next weekend, schweet!
6.5 mile trip up Carncliff top (through knee high heather) and on to Simons seat before heading back down through Howgill. Wasn't really feeling it today but pleased to get out, felt strong on the climbs today which was good.
