16 miles along the Thames towpath between Kingston and Battersea in 2.06.
Not bad considering I spent December living about as healthily as Charlie Sheen.
7km/220m straight into 6x1km(200m rec) on the towpath between Marple and New Mills. It was slippy, thronged with people and animals and I felt pretty cack and heavy - so I was pleased to bash them all out between 3:30 and 3:40 - thought I was going much slower. Then 2.5km plod home.

A better training exercise would be to run up the tramway inclines in Etherow Country Park.

12km (7.5 miles) in 1h45m from Snake summit-John Track Well-Torside-Cock Hill-Old Glossop. Lovely day - sunny and crispy bogs!

Was visiting a mate in Stockport so thought it rude to not go and run around the Kinder Downfall route in glorious, chilly sunshine. I noticed mudclaw tracks all the way round the route form start to end so if it was you - hope you had a good one. Also bumped into a fellow fellrunner who was a lucky sod. We were running along chatting and he suddenly popped into his house when barely off the fell.
