Pennine had our usual run around Kinder area last night For about the 3rd time in a month we have seen other groups of head torches bobbling in the darkness. There are a lot of intruders in our patch of bog
Wahoo!! I did something decent!! Roads admitedly but, !0 miles, sub 8 min pace was a good effort by me!! Hill runs Sunday and Monday I hope!!

Tough but nice morning to be out.
Started the recovery/training for trigger, a slow desperate wheezy 5 miles on Friday night, strugled to straighten the knee on the descents.
Yesterday was a snake Summit-Shelfmoor-Bleaklow-Shelfmoor-SS-Sandy heys Trig-Snake Summitt with Green Flash and I was FUBAR'D. Leg not working properly, not fit and put on 8lbs.
Steady run today but still struggleing. although one of the stitches has come out, I'll get the rest removed on Wednesday and then think about the Trigger...
A 13.5 mile trigger recce yesterday, with 2650 ft up and downs. From Torside, up WBC, along to SS, Old Woman, Snake Top and the bottom of Within Clough and back. Very windy and lots of fun.
10 miles over Ilkley moor yesterday from Dick Hudsons in a loop with full fellsman pack and gear as my training starts in earnest! Very wet, boggy and windy on the tops, great fun though.
8 miles - longest run for ages. Now just need to extend the distance and find some hills....
