Club run tonight. About 7 miles or so over Scout Scar. Up, down, round, up down etc etc... Was feeling great until I arrived back at the car park to a big pool of liquid underneath my car. Only got it back from garage today as well.:angry:
Cracking club run last night no clouds and just a hint of a breeze and the sky filled with Stars. From Yorkshire Bridge over Win hillfor a stunning sunset and over to Kinder and back, about 10 miles. WillB, GreenFlash, Safety Officer,Racing Snake, amongst others in to 20 strong group
Monday: 7 miles xc with dog
Tuesday: 15 mins warn up, super hill rep session (5*90 secs at full pelt upwards), 10 mins warm down in park in Weinheim , Germany
Wednesday@ rest / fly home
Thursday: 9 miles to work in headwind, 9 miles home
Friday: ??????
Second of my altitude tests this morning.
90mins at undisclosed altitude, followed by 5k time trial...with time unknown! On the back of a 12h fast. Was starving before I began. Lost 2kg in sweat. Bloomin' hard session.
I get all the results (as well as what altitudes I was at each time) at the end, along with some fairly detailed analysis.

Good fun, starting to get some hunger back after 54 weeks of nothing
Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
8.5 miles around Huby/North Rigton/Weeton area with a nice (but sadly all too short) fell bit up and over Almscliffe Crag, accompanied all the way by my trusty dog Alfie

Then back home into the thick fog.
