7 miles in the snow, more fun than you can wave a stick at in a fun factory, in funtown, funland, whilst on a guided fun tour with Lord Commander Fun.

4 on the road, just to complete my modest Garmin Goal for the month. First time of got close in months! Feel back on track after bad case of 'apathy' kicked in! Felt like Spring had sprung again...third time this year I think!! Lovely and sunny all the birds singing!

8 1/2 Lovely miles on Pendle this morning. Sun shining & frozen solid so no swimming in bogs which is unusual for me!
A flattish multi-terrain 10.5 miles 1050' .It felt very cold when I set off but when I was sheltered from that cold East wind and the sun came out it felt very mild.
No country for old men.
20 miles with Merlin from home via Delamere Forest. I think he said hello to every dog in Cheshire today.

Steady 62.1 miles at 7:04 minute pace.. tired towards the end.. 3rd in Britain.. but 7:18 was GB qualifying.. not 7:19:09.. which I never knew about.. so happy enough but plenty of what ifs...
28.2 in sun and on muddy fields or packed snow. Part White Bear and part stay on the tops and head for brinscall, then back as per A Amble - even got a cup of tea at White Coppice. Took a very muddy fall just near end - walkers coming the other way gave the mud monster a very wide berth!
I had a little run up Pendle Hill this morning from Barley. I went through the fields there and back and there were quite a few new born lambs sheltering in the bottom field. Up on top of Pendle the strong icy east wind was bitter.

9.5 miles from the Surprise View , Over Owler Tor, Higger Tor, Burbage Edge, Longshaw and home via Totley Moor and Gillfield Wood. Biting cold wind and some deep snow pockets with bog at the bottom !
Great fun and so nice to get looks and tuts of disapproval from walkers when they glance at your feet. So it was nice to respond and ask a bloke to lift his leather boot and compare grip with my Mudclaws - He lost :-) enough said Mr smug runs off .
5 climbs of Kinder. Downfall,Crowden Tower,Grindslow Knoll,Grindsbrook and Jacobs Ladder/Kinder Low. Not quite the full Killer route I had planned but still a good 5000 ft or so of climbs.
Pretty cold on top again. Is this wind ever gonna drop ?
