A sadly all too rare trip to Peakland today. Four climbs of Kinder (Ringing Roger, Grindsbrook Clough, Crowden and Jacob's ladder). Amazingly dry on the top and perfect conditions apart from the cold wind. c 12miles / 4,000 feet?

1.6 miles round "The big block". First run in 6 weeks.
First great weather day of the year on Kinder. Sunny, warmish compared to the last few weeks and at last that wind has gone.
16 mile Kinder Trog route in 2 hours 50. Legs a bit stiff after Mondays Four Inns epic but still a very enjoyable morning
A lunchtime 5 miler up to the 'Top of Pike' and back again. The ground is very dry up there and I ran it in trail shoes today. It was a PB for the year so far to the summit which will be down to the ground conditions I think.
No country for old men.
6.7 miles with the club from Skipton. Curlews and lapwings in the fields with a plethora of lambs. Moorhouse Blonde Witch the drink of the evening in the Royal Shepherd. Toss up between Branston Pickle Cheddars and Seabrooks Beefy crisps as the premier pub snack :closed:
