    Hill Reps, 6 x 1036ft

    Giving 6216ft in 10.32 miles.

Quite a bit slower than I was in November, but happy to have done it. Especially after a 3.30am alarm call.

And I didn't puke (thought about it at one point)

And Ive just crammed in an hour on the turbo trainer. I suspect that my enthusiasm spent for the week.

Sunday 14.5 miles at 6:35 min mile pace on sandy forest trails..
Minday easy 10 on roads.. cycle ways.. forest trails..
Tuesday 10k at 6 am.. easy.. followed by 12 k at 6:10 mile mile pace..
Wednesday.. 20.5k at 6:22 min mile pace again on sandy trails..

It'll be interesting to see how this works.. or if I just die..

Smashing turn out for Brett's birthday. 5 or 6 miles at social pace followed by refreshments in the Front Room. Lovely to meet Aunt Sally's new friend. He's German and a nice guy

12.5m and 2200ft on the hill, running the MTB downhill course was great fun.

More importantly I appear to have run further than IainR today.

Which I suspect is a first. Even on his flippin rest days.

    Bloody show off.

Just did a slow 7 in response to this.. 13.2 for the day..

Joking.. there is no rest day.. now at 1 rest day.. day after 100k.. in 147 days..

I'm intending to drop the milage to 80-85 and have more quality so more miles at 6:30 pace.. and efforts.. basically my 5-10-21-42 k times match roughly.. so unless I drop my 5-10k times I won't get quicker..

    Re: Today's Training

A run to the shop round the corner and back with my little one after work (he carried two energy gels, but we didn't need them in the end).

Then 8.7 miles of Leicestershire trails later on. Bumped into the same runner on three separate occasions as we each made the most of a small park in our own way!
