Looks a good run out Steve! We met and had a nice chat with Leed Flyer at Easter on leg 2 in the snow

Hamstring still an issue.. 1 mile warm up. 12 K at 4 min/k.. but more like 3:50... 6:20-6:10 min miles.. felt good at that.. was chatting away.. the guy I was with is the Doc for the German Marathon team.. 2:20 marathoner.. then 1 mile cool down.. jumped on road bike 30 K on that..

Nice week so far but hamstring is an issue.. not pulled just severely tight suddenly during runs..

Didn't feel like racing Burbage last night, so went out late from Ladybower Inn instead. Straight up behind the pub, along the edge to sit on cakes of bread for the sunset and then just made it back to the car without needing a headtorch. Beautiful run and light, sadly photos didn't come out great as I think it was a lot darker than I realised.

    10.3km, 312m climb, 61min

Damp, grey ride to work this morning, 23km, 300m climb, 50 min.

    Re: Today's Training

Had an early run today having seen the weather forecast for later. 8m/1500' round local hills - In one field a very young lamb attached itself to me suffering from some kind of parental identification problem. I led it to the nearest sheep that was complaining and at the same time two other lambs suddenly appeared and went towards the sheep. She ended up with 3 lambs "attached" to her so I didn't know who belonged to whom in the end ?

6.8m 1300ft on the hill, and 1hr 15m steady on the turbo trainer before brekkie.

Not what I hoped to be doing today, but life had other plans.

I had a run round the Hailstorm Hill fell race route this morning and the hill lived up to its name.
