Yesterday 22.18km with 1149m ascent, 5:04'. Was nice weather apart from a short but heavy downpour on the top of Pen-y-Fan.

Hill work today, 4 reps giving 4144ft in 6.88miles.

Lovely out there, quite envious of the Paragliders today.

First proper run out since the baby arrived on 31 st July yesterday. From totley, over totley moor, big moor, white edge, curbar edge, below gardoms and to the robin hood at Baslow for beer and crisps. Back via birchen edge, big moor and totley moor. About 25km, 600m climb and 2 1/2 hours running (3 hours door to door).

Lovely run, feel much better for it.

Only bad, point was I ran straight into the back of a bee just before the end. Embedded in my forehead,

Me too, just above my ankle as I was getting out of the car before setting off on a 9 mile run over Pen y Ghent. I spent the first 15 minutes wondering if I'd have an allergic reaction and go into anaphylactic shock

Not as demotivated today, still all just trade miles though, but 6 miles 7 am, 13 miles 5:30pm.. long day of learning how to use R so the last run was actually enjoyable in torrential rain.. for the 3rd time recently I finished with big blood stains running down from my nipples.. its a pain in the arse.. once it happens once it just keeps happening..

Ran with a local guy who's Dad I was chatting too a few days ago, seemed like his Dad knew his running.. turns out he was an 8 minute 3000m runner, 2nd in the U20's European Champs..
