9 mile cross country run today with a couple of pals + dog. Alcohol was raining out of me after last night's club Christmas party! No pain from left calf and felt great which is a big relief as it's the Tour De Helvellyn next weekend.
Do what you like, like what you do
22 miles on the exercise back last night in the gym.. basically 1 hour effort session on a random programme..
Not to boring.
Foot is still sore but think its sort of plantar f from cramping my foot up from protecting my toe and having a strange gait.. walking barefoot makes it feel much better.
Did 3 marathons at lunch time. I prefer them to mars bars any day.
I wont be (sh) long, dear.
OK.. went to wythenshaw for an x ray as I landed back in the UK....
They said its not fractured as I can still run.. and they don't x ray little toes...
I think when I said I ran 30 miles last week and it hurts she thought it was soft tissue.. anyway I said 90 is more normal and I know something is wrong..
Anyway managed to get an x ray and it is fractured... but there's nothing that can be done..
Maybe just gym, bike, swim for a week or so... not great but its only a small crack and its all inline...
8miles xc round a muddy tatton park.. no hills this weekend hopefully get some in over Xmas... In the mean time plod on...
5 muddy miles with the dog around local woodland trails. 53 mins 650ft climb 3 poop stops and some chasing each other round a field. Good time had by all. Picked up pace for last couple miles, enjoyed it.

7.4 miles today. It's so flat my GPS picked up zero ascent. Yesterday only managed 16ft for flips sake.
The Fens are not for me.
