4 hours 15 miles 2000ft With IDP. Wet, wild and.. fun?!
Visiting Stones, Bomb craters, Tea plants, Plane wrecks and Springs. Even overtook a few MTBers at the end. Nice Morning/Afternoon on the lush hills and moorland of Derwent.

Raced yesterday, a proper mountain race.. Wachusett Mountain Race.. 10k. 5k up hill on road, then 5k down hill on ski trails. good fun. US Mountain Running Champs, came 17th but seemed to have forgotten what an uphill was.. felt shattered. Ran 17 miles the day before including a hilly 14 miler so that was an issue. Then another 4 last night including a swim in the sea, first of the year.

Good work on the mountain race Iain!

Just 2 and a half miles for me this morning with the dog, mostly road. 1 or 2 medium runs on the wee fells of the Peaks tomorrow

I think so Ian, up at 5:30 giving a 'guided' run so should be good for the warts. Need to text round for car-share. Take it your out then? Camera is back charging

3.5 miles around Burbage Valley early this morning. Took a friend for his first 'fell' run. Fairly tame for folk like us but hardcore for anyone else I guess, especially in this mornings wind, rain and clag! Falls, bogs, river crossings and even found a tennis ball which my do is happily chewing as I type.
He wasn't put off anyway, so job well done!

Nice 14 miles and 2000 ft with IDP as stated about, highlight of the run definitely being the red deer! Wonderful sight!
