    3 bad weeks now..

    This week I've been laid low with a tooth infection, now removed..

    So 14 monday, tuesday off, 14 wednesday, 10k thursday lunch and 9 thursday night, then 8 yesterday morning then the tooth out so should take 2 days off..

    I may run with my new team on Sunday, 20 miler or so, will see how I feel.. Nice deal with them, they pay race entries in certain series, plus extra entries, free trainers and 40% off in shops.. so probably worth a good few hundred $$..

    3 1/2hr run from Roybridge Saturday in miserable conditions. Could have done without watching livestock get swept down the Monessie gorge and drowned after widespread flood in the glens.

    75m and 4000ft from Aviemore on the road bike Sunday, good day out.

    Sunday 7 road miles @ 6:40 pace 46:00
    Monday 15 multi terrain ( beach, trail and road ) miles in strong wind @ 7:00 pace 142:30
    Tuesday 11 miles with an interval session sandwiched in the middle, proper done in last mile
    Wednesday rest day and 10 a side footy tonight

    followed be 16 mile recovery off road bike ride...

    Last night - 7 mile road run with club + cycle up Addingham Moorside and Cow and Calf.

    Forgot to mention last week I did a 3/4 dark peak 4 county tops, 36 miles a fair bit of climbing very cold and wet underfoot, Over a 100 mountain hares....nice little trot out for 8 hours

    Good week by my levels. ... 6 easy sunday- 11 multi terrain 1:15 Monday- drunk Tuesday-Wednesday easy 5-Thursday 6 miles with some reps thrown in- Friday 17multi terrain 2:02-today slow 3recovery

    11 last night up the beach and down the road, it was proper miserable conditions, very windy with icy rain, but strangely enough I loved every step, proper feeling strong for the first time in ages

    Solid week, been a decent few weeks now as the weather improved.

    m: 11.2 miles road and trail 7:10 pace, got home and the missus was doing 5 so another 5.
    t: track 13.3 miles, 8 x 1km at 5:10 pace.
    w: lunch: 4 miles steady. pm: 5 miles steady.
    t: 20.3 mile trail run 6:53 pace. PR for the loop, pretty happy with it.
    f: 5 miles steady.
    s: am: 5 miles road 7:15 pace. pm: 5 miles steady 7:15 pace
    s: Love Run Half, 2.5 mile warm up, 13.1 mile road race, few hills, strong head wind, 1:16:50, 5:50 pace 6th out of 8000 or so. the aim was just sub MP so happy enough after a hard week, struggled in the wind, weak field so lots of miles on my own. 1 mile cool down. pm: 3 miles steady

    93 miles for the week, 1 quality long run, 1 effort session and 1 race.

    1 more solid week then start to taper.
