New fiensdale route in the bowland fells, around 7 miles and 2500ft climbing. Manage to get round before the persistant rain came in.

Easy plod around Whangie Whizz race route 4.5m, with her indoors, pushed 5 x 1-1:30 uphill sprints on the 2nd half. feeling strong if not fast. Not sure if that is post Ennerdale still or just because we were up till 3:30 a.m. cheering the West Highland Way race going past the house at their 10 mile point. A lovely morning for running but not a very chatty bunch, not like fellrunners.

Hilly 8 mile road run. Took it steady and feeling hot & heavy. Hard getting back into regular training after a month with 3 races in so it had lots of resting between them. Anyway I feel back in the groove now.

4m to work on singlespeed, in a bit of a state at 5am this morning after Midsummer Madness and too much Guinness and Cider last night
Managed to get up Ripponden bank, glad no one could see my face though 8m steady spin home. Mini hill session tonight with Mini-Merrylegs, he carried the bumbag with drinks in to weigh him down so i could keep up
    Hills and Guinness!
