Alphin, You don't work mate? A three hour run on a Thursday, lucky sod.

5.30am = 5 miles all roads. Carrbrook and Mossley area.

4.30pm = 11 mile on moors starting from Hadfield, along the trail, up by old maggot farm and up on to Bleaklow area. Long runable descent back to Old Glossop and back to Hadfield. Needed my run tonight. Felt shattered all day. Think I will go to bed and make the most of Kadi already being a sleep.

A very short 1.5 mile 10 min run tonight. First run since last Sunday's 10K race felt knackered all week due to work commitments. Early morning starts and late nights preparing for an OFSTED inspection that is expected between Oct and Xmas.

Hopefully get back to longer runs tomorrow.

9 miles around bits of the Windgather race route. Started by Errwood Reservoir and cut off left at the base of Shining Tor and back through Shooter's Clough - which is a superb grassy descent. Or at least I'm sure it would be for people who can run down hills!
We were up there on Tuesday as well Dom. Set off from Kettleshulme at 10.30am. Up to Windgather,
Pym Chair, Shining Tor, down to Errwood (even I like that descent!) and back over Foxlow Edge.
Lovely weather and wonderful views. Had a pint and some lunch sitting outside the Swan!
