Banged out a mile (64 lengths) of free-style at Heywood pool in 45 minutes. That's bloody quick for me, i'm chuffed to bits to be honest.

13 miles on the country roads. Schedule was for 6:24 pace. Actual pace was 6:18 which is good, as long as i can go a tad faster next week.

35 min run today with an 8 min tempo run included
The race does not always go to the swift, but to the ones who keep running

    Re: Todays Training

Last night 10 miles up in the hills and woods with the club. Ground frozen solid so it was fast, and we had a good group, everybody was on the pace.

Today 2 to 4 inches of snow in the Chilterns and still snowing - might have to take 1/2 days holiday and get out for a run!
