    Re: Today's Training

Last night out in the really wet rain, could only see slanting stair rods in my head torch. Over Weets and looping round with a bit a tarmac, head down. Missed the 5 bar gate that I usually turn off at! Paula Radcliffe uses icy water on her legs after a run, I wounder if its as good during the run? Anyway a steady session 65 mins.

Quick strength session this morning. Looking forward to club run tonight.

Welcome back Steve good to hear you are running again.

Yesterday road race 5.25 miles and 1020ft climb.
Today over Bleaklow and I actually saw stuff from the summit first clear day up there for many a year beautiful

About 12 miles 1800ft still a bit wet up there. I saw Stuart W from Penistone who was out reccying TT Lots of studmarks esp on the descent to rain guage.

    30 minutes cross-trainer at level 7, 15 minutes treadmill at incline 10 (then 15 for 2 minutes) and 8.0k pace. 2000m rowing - 10 minutes. Drenched.

3 very very flat road miles this morning. I dont care-its just good to be able to run again.

Its going to be a long road to recovery me thinks.
    Still too heavy to run
