4 mile warm up, 20 x 1minute off 1min recovery, followed by a 2mile cool down. All done and grass before hitting the ice bath for 10mins. Felt gooood!!!!

Easy couple of hours up and over Shutlingsloe from Macc Forest, up to Cat and Fiddle and back again. Cold and wet Macc side. Sunny and dry Wildboarclough side. Very boggy underfoot.

Yesterday: Good session on Pendle about an our and a quarter. Nice night with no rain! Still slow on climbs, no to drop a few pounds and get some strength back into my calves. Done plenty of biking over the summer which, I think doesn't keep your calves that strong. Didn't reward myself with a pie and peas; which is why I was up at 5.30 making beans on toast. Woke up starving!

    Class!

I went one better and ran five-ish miles around three rugby pitches including some sprints near the end. I was planning on headtorching with the local madhouse up Pendle tonight but my old war wound (the knee of doom) felt tender last night after the battering it received on the Tour of Pendle on Saturday.... so I'll probably be bottling it .
