    Re: Today's Training

A nice run up winter hill last night with lostock.
Nice gentle pace, weather great and view fantastic!

More importantly (for me) pain in my shin seems to be getting better so am hoping thats that!
Planning 9 miles on the hills tonight and something similar tomorrow afternoon, nowt on sat then Wilmslow on sunday!

This is the 3rd time I've done this race and blown up both times at 10 miles.
    This time its payback!!!!!

(I'm so going to regret that come sunday )

1 hour ten minutes on the Downs today. Started near Goodwood, over to Upwaltham then down past the church, up the steep hill, back down to the farm then a long climb up to the South Downs way before hanging a right back to the car. About 9 miles I reckon and felt pretty good.

12 miles easy. Not feeling great. Bit of a sore throat.

Calf - I've done Wilmslow a few times too and it's always stung me after 9 miles. This year I'm having a go at Coniston 14 instead on the Saturday.

12.5 miles on the longdendale trail in 1hr 27. Thought I would get a longish one in before doing Wilmslow on Sunday. Got a late entry from a fellow forumite - not done a long run in ages. Felt ok ish but im gonna struggle on Sunday. New Asics shoes make one of my toes sting like buggery
