I think my Mudclaws did look a bit out of place, though lots of broken paving slabs reminded me of the summit of Bowfell

Gym again tonight. Seriously regretting not bringing my trainers. Nice night for a run.
Anyway:
Warm up by another interval sesh on treadmill on max incline
47 Handclap press-ups (10/10/10/10/7). As last night with the burpees, ended with a comical collapse, this time on me face.
Various bi/tri exercises
Ended with some remedial anti-ITB stretches/exercises
Fairly easy sesh all told. Heavy one tomorrow with day 2 of the challenges and more work on the big muscle groups. Won't be walking properly at the end of the week. Love it!
Quite tired, so not sure about hitting the gym tomorrow morning as well. Might just have another 90mins in bed!

Little bit of a trot around Heaton Park... beats running on tarmac and quite a bit closer than Holcombe Hill (important until I get a permanent job).
Easy plod on usual trail 5, Wooldale to Hade Edge and back. Misty, breezey and very cold again. Been out for a lot of shorter runs lately around commitments, feeling tired but moving well. Must go long this weekend though not sure what.
Inspiration near Holmfirth gladly accepted, hopefully with not too much snow as I would like to run.

Is it meant to be this hard?
Easy 5m over moors from pocketrocket106's house, her dad's just gone in for a knee op and i drove his Bongo back from Bingley for him. Speedy recovery to him and don't forget to pick him up Stagger
Hills and Guinness!
A little cracker last night and a good accompanying tale

Trying to plod up hills every day slightly faster than the day before
2 easy road miles this am. Nearly got into a fight with a cyclist who tried to run me down. Had no concept of 'give way to pedestrians' on a shared footpath. Bloody 'nana.
10 miles around Baildon Moors, Spring Woods etc. Very cold (buff pulled reet up, terrorist stylee), windy, misty & drizzly.
Bring on The Rombalds.
Last night was tuesday hill reps.
I confinced a mate to come along, who also convinced a mate to come along.
I did 12 reps in total - they did every other one with me - but for some reason my garmin told me i did less climbing that last week even though i did 1 rep more.
Really chuffed i got those two to come with me, they must have enjoyed the torture because they asked when we're going again! RESULT!
Give it a few months and they'll be running in the lakes with me.
